NOTES: Soft twittering and chatter of a different pair from cut #05-RDAT03-11; these birds were clearly seen in riparian corridor along trail and creek about 1 1/2-8 m away and 2-5 1/2 m up, initially in very dense undergrowth of Coffeeberry (Rhamnus californica), Poison Oak (Toxicodendron diversilobum), and blackberries (Ribes sp.), but later moving up into Arroyo Willow (Salix lasiolepis); birds were clearly seen along same riparian corridor but about 1/8 to _ mile farther upstream; natural recording; birds later approached to ÒspishingÓ but gave similar calls and not many of them; 10 knot breeze coming down canyon but this spot was sheltered, 50¡F, clear. Other Behaviors: Mate. Habitat: Deciduous Forest, Creek, Riparian, Thicket/Brush.
