Observation details
Sixth record for Ohio and my third time seeing this species in the state (50% !!). Bird was first noticed on 10/18, but was not reported til yesterday at about 11:30am by Jason Larson. It was seen throughout the afternoon yesterday but not from 4:30 to dark. It was around for an hour and 20 minutes today (8:50am) then disappeared until 4:07pm. Put on a fantastic show for about 25 birders, as it caught many insects and sat on numerous perches, including the log pile in particular (recall 2009 Holmes Co. log pile Wheatear). It was seen for about 25 minutes and the last 10 of those were spent sitting on top of the house!
