Observation details
Yellow bellied Kingbird first seen at about 9:05 AM. The bird worked the areas around the parking lot for 15 or so minutes before flying northwest towards the desert. The bird had a moderately forked tail with no white, an olive green back and upper breast, a very rich yellow breast, sides, and belly, moderately contrasting black stripe through the eye, and a bill that appeared slightly shorter and thicker than a Tropical Kingbird (which we were obviously unable to see for comparison). Another feature that was very obscure upon photo review was that the primary tips appeared about equally spaced on the folded wing.
