Observation details
1st State Record | Found by Luke Seitz (with Jeremiah Trimble and Ryan Doherty) in their yard above Lobster Cove. Relocated on the wash leading down to the cove where it was most frequently seen through the end of the day. It did 'sneak' by and was seen further east around the back of LC and went west on the slope past a few spruces but always returned to a 'favorite' perch along the slope. A very pale gray empid, hints of green on the breast and scapulars. Rounded head; slight white eye ring. Bold white wing bars and edges to tertials. Thin long bill with yellow mandible (a little dusky near the tip). Long tail with white edges on the outer rectrices; characteristically pumped downward when perched.
