Observation details
Continuing. Initially detected about 8:20am at which time it was calling vociferously. A rapid, excitable "tip" note similar in quality to that of the winter/Pacific wren. Seen well close (quite responsive to pishing). A relatively chunky warbler with saffron-yellow colored underparts with slate bluish-gray upperparts. Darkish lateral crown stripes with bronzy-yellow colored median crown stripe.
