Observation details
Large, long winged, long tailed buteo, The underparts were heavily barred and dark blobs were present on the breast sides. The throat, center of upper breast, and forehead were pale. Primaries very long, nearly reaching the tip of the tail. Back and wings on upperside were dark brownish. Lower legs unfeathered. Undertail coverts buffy white and lightly barred. Tail finely barred with wider subterminal band. Pointed wings and slight dihedral noted in flight. Seen briefly in flight and perched for a longer period.
