Recording Log: "Date: 29 May1980. Time start: About 1948. Cruise: Tioga. Tape #s: Uher 21-25. Position: Lat. 41¡23.53 Long. 69¡11.81. Species: Right, Fins, Lags. Number: 4-6 + 10+. Notes, Heavy trawlers (14) traffic 2-6 miles. May have 1-3 short right whale moans. Have fair Lag sds. Maybe 20~? We drifted overnight about 5 miles to the south." Tape notes: Sea state 1/2. 4 - Rights + 10+ Fins in area. Rights within 300 yds. Lots of short groans. 29 May 1980. Distant porpoise heard at times. Trawler 3 1/2 miles other 5-6 miles.
