Observation details
Our group of 5 birders, led by Ken Pitts, saw a lone female American Redstart flitting in a group of trees, exhibiting classic tail-fanning behavior. We watched the bird move around for close to 15 minutes. Photos were difficult but I managed to capture one mediocre shot (attached). When approaching from main parking area, turn left and go through seasonal gate just before bridge. Group of trees in which the bird was spotted is about 0.2 miles past gate, and just off trail to the right.
