Media notes
NOTES: Recorded at a tree-fall gap near marker #11 at top of hill [03¡ 21Õ 11" S, 54¡ 57Õ 41" W], two birds were low, in dense undergrowth (about a meter up), closer bird was about 8 meters away; though natural song, this recording possibly involved agitated birds, given that at least two individuals were present; no immediate response to tape playback (though bird went quiet before I began playback), but bird began singing again at close range, apparently after silent approach; it then zipped back-and-forth around me, though I was never able to see it better than as brief glimpses (ID based on song); low overcast, calm, 80¡ F. Response to playback: Approach. Other Behaviors: Advertise. Habitat: Rainforest, Evergreen Forest.
