Friedl, 1982, "A long-term study of low-frequency sounds from several species of whales off Oahu, Hawaii. Cetology 45: September 30, 1982. Equipment notes from this reference indicate "two hydrophones, 11.6km apart and bottom-mounted at 400 fathoms off the northernmost point of Oahu... Hydrophone response was essentially flat from 20 to 300Hz and was attenuated at about 15dB per octave above." SEAOCEAN. Other Behaviors: 500-hz Thumps.
