NOTES: 500-Hz and 20-Hz pulses at 4x (originally recorded at 15/16 ips; digitized at 3.75 ips). 500-Hz pulses from Globicephala; 20-Hz pulses are fin whales. Reference: Thompson, Paul O. and William A. Friedl, 1982, "A long-term study of low-frequency sounds from several species of whales off Oahu, Hawaii. Cetology 45: September 30, 1982. Equipment notes from this reference indicate "two hydrophones, 11.6km apart and bottom-mounted at 400 fathoms off the northernmost point of Oahu... Hydrophone response was essentially flat from 20 to 300Hz and was attenuated at about 15dB per octave above." SEAOCEAN.
