Observation details
1st year or female on the drive by the north east corner on the dike road. it was right in front of my car and I snapped pics through the windshield so not the best. I couldn't get out of the car and snap pics because of the rain. It was soaked, very dark brown with yellow on throat and around face. It was alone but there was a flock of Red-winged further down the road towards the turn for the last leg. It eventually flew behind my car on to the road again. it was picking through the grasses that were leaning over the road from being soaked. It was also hiding under the grasses to get out of the rain.
