Observation details
Large like Rivoli's, but with the large white eyebrow and narrow white malar. Unmistakeable blue gorget with grey underparts and conspicuous white tail corners. I had excellent looks at the bird while it was guarding a feeder from a number of Rivoli's hummingbirds for good comparison.
