Observation details
The following marks for juvenile Long-tailed Jaeger are visible in the photos: 1. Gray tones. 2. Two-toned upper wings. 3. Two pale primary shafts on P10 and P9 4. Structure - weight forward, with more breast than belly, very little head projection, and an extended "back end." 5. Stubby bill. 6. and perhaps most convincing, the scaly looking mantle and upper wing coverts as the result of bars of pale-edged feathers (a feature not normally shown by young PAJAs).
