NOTES: Song of same bird as cut #99-11-07. This cut was recorded after I whistled to the bird, in response to which it approached, circled me once on foot, and flew by, all before this recording was made; the bird was seen quite well walking on the floor of good, terra firme forest; though unseen when recorded, bird was 18 meters away, and on or very near the ground; recorded along forest trail about 1 km. north of sede (headquarters); scattered clouds, slight breeze, 78¡ F; in addition to approach, bird sang more frequently in response to my whistling at it; although song was generally the same, it occasionally terminated with a "chick" note after my whistling; cut contains an internal voice announcement. Response to playback: Approach. Response to playback: Normal song. Response to playback: Different song. Other Behaviors: Advertise. Habitat: Rainforest, Evergreen Forest.
