NOTES: Song of male after being whistled to. First part recorded at 13:03, second part at 13:04. Bird was recorded from 11/2 to 2 meters up moderately dense undergrowth at edge of tree-fall gap; 12-15 meters away in area with many vine tangles within good, terra firme forest; after being whistled to; cut contains an internal announcement; in response to whistling and later playback, the bird approached with interscapular patch flared; though initially only calling (chattering), it later began singing; overcast, calm, low 80s; recorded at 00¡ 42Õ 23" N, 51¡ 28Õ 33" W; most of this cut (including the entire first part up to the announcement) was lost when tape broke; only the announcement and the latter part remain. Response to playback: Approach. Response to playback: Different song. Other Behaviors: Advertise. Habitat: Rainforest, Evergreen Forest.
