NOTES: Includes 54 songs of dawn chorus. This cut begins at 5:57, after I initially tried to get onto the bird at 5:43 am; the bird began singing from the far side of a tree-fall gap, and then crossed it upon my arrival; the long call was from a second bird; when recorded, the bird was 30 meters away and 25 meters up near the top of a smaller tree; the bird was near my trail at the edge of a tree-fall gap; though it moved a bit at first, the bird was more stationary later on; mostly clear, calm, mid 70s; this is the second bird that I recorded at this site, approximately 2 km. out the road on the west side. ML: Background subject changed from recordist's original identification of Ramphastos tucanus cuvieri to Ramphastos tucanus to conform to eBird Taxonomy (v. 1.55). -Jay McGowan/Matt Medler, July 2015.
