Observation details
Very unusual in the lowlands of Brisbane region. Alerted to its presence by the distinctive "jit jit" call commonly heard in the mountains. Played the call to check and it responded with continual call identical to the third call on the Morecombe app. Poor record shots taken in low light conditions showing shorter bill and greyer face than the more likely Mangrove Gerygone. Located in bushland opposite 255 Wyampa Rd in an area of thick vine scrub.
