NOTES: Call after playback of above cut (#98RDAT10-22); bird was still 30 meters away and 2/3 up trees; playback response was approach and more frequent calling; the bird was well seen and apparently an immature male in that it seemed to have a largely dark tail; the bird moved about relatively slowly and tended to sit around quite a bit; two birds were present in the immediate vicinity, right at the edge of igap¿ and terra firme forest about 1.2 km. out road on west side; these were very likely the same two birds recorded here on 7 August (#98-RDAT10-02, 03). Response to playback: Approach. Response to playback: Normal song. Habitat: Rainforest, Evergreen Forest.
