NOTES: Notes: "songs and calls at end. some parabola noise; seen briefly as it passed by in response to playback of a prerecorded tape, but now is perched in view; dusk-still light enough to see the bird easily as it flew by; silent after playback; flew by ca. 3-4 m off the ground and ducked in to perch on or near the ground; relatively open scrubby "woodland" of pitch pine, white oak, and scrub oak; most rees 5-8m tall on sandy soil; partly cloudy, some low clouds, calm, low 70's to upper 60's. Recorded with HHb PDR-1000 Portadat recorder, Sennheiser MKH-20. Inside a fiberglass Roche 30" parabola, limiters off, HHS filters in cut position."
