NOTES: LNS notes: Start time announced as 1925, but noted in other locations as 2125, and time at end is 2148. 'Gram' referred to in notes below is a spectrogram taped into the Tape Log. 07Oct2003 SAS. Reel notes: "Pattern. 11¡55'N 61¡53'N. 7 Feb 1972. Cut #2 R-130 filter out, start 2125, starts full call. End 2148, full call. Odd one has hairlip lisp with moans shows up best in cut 2." Tape Log: "SHL-1-4 Cut #2. 7 Feb. 1972. ('says' 1925, wrong time? 2125!) On the R-130 hydrophone, engines secured, same animal as before - we start recording at an animal's surface sound. Second animal is heard in the background. Fair signal levels. Second animal appears closer by sound - a third one was heard way off in distance for a while! See gram showing 3 at one instance of times (#3 is way in background). There may be one weak pulse near end of tape. Tape ends time 2048." SEAOCEAN.
