Media notes
NOTES: special Note: this cut falls at the end of the tape and is recorded slightly slow, coming off as fast. LNS note: Speed corrected at 14.00ips, Studer 1, Studio B. mf Note: These recordings were made with the latest model of TCM-5000 with the bad motor. Cuts made near the end of a tape in humid conditions can have a speed shift problem- best indicator would appear to be the stable insect noise lines that appear on a sonogram- any variation in form shows a speed recording problem This is a rainforest environment in a rainshadow area with a less diverse avifauna near to the San Jose de Uchupiamonas jungle lodge. We cut a trail thorugh the forest and I recorded birds along mammal transects. forest was pretty poor with only 250 odd species and a total recorded in the area as 310 species. Habitat: Rainforest.
