Media notes
NOTES: only one trill, pattern, freq. length like other H. axillaris bit first note and drop at end different. sound came from thick vines and tangle of the canopy. Have not been able to confirm in other 2000 sites (with trawling). would be new bird for Bolivia- though not that far away in Peru. Research site in Madidi national Park. An odd humid valley with base camo at 2000 metres. Bird community was 50% Amazonian lowland birds, with many new altitude records for area and Bolivia.
