NOTES: [Sixteen songs of several song types that can be broadly placed into two different groups based on the introduction. In addition to the songs, one hears "pik" or "plik" call notes at 2:15 (2), 2:195, 2:26, 2:29, 2:305, 2:35, 2:38, 2:465, 2:505, but some, if not all of these calls appear to have been given by a second individual. I am less certain of the identity of the apparent begging calls at 2:32-2:38 and 2:54-2:57, especially given that they differ from those at 3:28-4:06, which are given in association with calls that appear to be those of Cardinalis cardinalis. Both seem to have been given by either a cardinalid or emberizid, but I cannot be certain about the species. Quality changed from ~1 to 1-2 - CAM - 21 October 2005].
