Observation details
Seen briefly climbing a dead tree in the centre of the reserve. I did not consider this sighting to be of note as they are often seen at outer Brisbane sites. This was corrected later. I recall there were fires around the Townsville area and a lot of burnt bush. Perhaps the original habitat of the bird was disturbed resulting in attendance at this site.
