Observation details
Continuing rarity. Largest hummingbird at the feeder, but often harassed by other humms. Seen only once about 2 minute visit at 6:17 in the morning during my over 2 hour observation. Dorsal dull olive-brown, ventral purely white, crown, nape, auricular dark blue; side of neck, and upper breast washed with blue (seen only in good light), white spot on dark face, long pinkish bill with dark tip.
