Media notes
Recording Times: 7:43, 7:53, 8:14:00 AM (UTC -4). Temperature: 18 C. Habitat: Coniferous Forest, Mixed Coniferous/Deciduous, Scrub Forest. Background species: Vireo solitarius, Zonotrichia albicollis, Zenaida macroura, Poecile atricapillus, Setophaga magnolia. Behavior and other notes: Singing and chipping from the top of a conifer. Similarity of a somewhat unusual song (with down-up whistle before final buzz) and behavior (chipping between songs) suggest that this is the same individual as recorded later by Laura Gooch and uploaded as ML104709071. The two recordings were made very roughly 60 m apart. Specific Location: Latitude 44.366339, Longitude -68.052034, Elevation 35 m. Acadia National Park, Schoodic Peninsula, Blueberry Hill Trail near the intersection with the Wonsqueak to Schoodic Woods Trail. 4.0 km southeast (bearing 142.1) from Winter Harbor, Maine. ID'd by Sound; ID confidence 100%.
