NOTES: BUZZES. SUMAC CLUMP IN OVERGROWN CLEARING. Sex: 1 UNKNOWN [Given that the bird was apparently NOT seen (based on voice announcement), I am concerned about the identification of this bird. The three songs in the second part of this recording are typical of Vermivora chrysoptera (the first song with five notes, the latter two with four), so without a certain visual identification I would consider the claimed identification suspect. The first part of the recording appears to contain two Type II songs, but it is so busy that it is difficult to be certain of either the species or the song type (e.g., I am not sure I can unequivocally eliminate Parula americana). Quality changed from 2-3 to 3, 2 - CAM - 13 June 2005].
