Media notes
NOTES: This small bird gives the short chip calls while foraging in canopy 10-12m up. If it is not P. gracilis it will have to be P. ansorgei. Both occur in this forest though P. ansorgei is supposedly more common. I identify the bird as gracilis because ansorgei's call is more like a rattle as recorded in cut 107880. This call sounds exactly like that of gracilis from Minziro Forest Reserve in Tanzania. Habitat: Rainforest, Evergreen Forest. ML: Subject changed from Brachypodius/Rubigula/Pycnonotus sp. to Eurillas gracilis as per the recordist's notes and James Bradley. -Matt Medler, 2 Nov 2022.
