Observation details
Continuing pair viewed from the platform so as not to disturb their activities. The female was frequently seen removing fecal sacs from and bringing food to the nest site, making short flights across the field. The male was singing and difficult to see across the street perched low in the grass, but came into full view as it flew over the street and into the field in front of the platform. The dry song consisted of two introductory notes followed by a short rapid series of notes typical of sedge wrens. Pale very small wrens, streaked backs and uniquely barred wings, cinnamon overtones on flanks and rump. Seen with M.O.B. Photos.
