NOTES: various calls from fresh water marsh [This recording begins with three "Chip" Calls that do not sound to me like other calls by this species (possibly Gallinula chloropus or Fulica americana instead?), but these are followed by several series of what I believe is a variant of the "Cackle" call of Porphyrula. Quality changed from "V.good" to 2-1, 2-3 (the best Cackles all have songs of Agelaius phoeniceus songs in the middle) - CAM - 25 February 2005]. Habitat: Wetland.

- Red-winged Blackbird Agelaius phoeniceus
