Observation details

Very rare. Continuing pair on the duckweed covered pond near the administration building and circle. Foraging vacuum cleaner style on duckweed, then climbed onto a log in the far back corner (northwest) of the pond. Large but slender duck with bright reddish bill. Rusty brown overall with plain grayer face and solid black belly. Long pale pink legs. Photos.
