Media notes
The bird was foraging, it stopped and then sang and resumed to forage on the ground again. It then produce these machine gun like calls. The parakeets calls are too loud and kind of drowning the blackbird's call
Observation details
A bird was spotted in an area which is under shade of garden and forest plants, a dripping sprinkler is an ideal place for birds to visit for water. Lot of undergrowth and leaf litter probably provides invertebrates for insectivore birds. Here a greyish bird the size of a babbler with orangish beak was seen. Also no orange patch behind the eye but a pale eye ring distinctly seen. Took pictures and videos of the bird. This is the 2nd photographic record of Black-capped Blackbird from this area. Ebird has a record of blackbird (Sneary 2014) with photograph from Ranthambhore
