Media notes
NOTES: Bird were vocalizing in palms in the field station clearing just outside of the visitor cabins. Sounds include a harsh nasal "churr", Redwing Blackbird-like "check" notes, and soft quizical nasal notes. Rising "seeee" notes and other sibilant sounds are from the tanager. Pair of birds present, but I believe most of the recorded vocalizations are from the male of the pair. At one point another male is present, but again, I believe most of the vocalizations are from the male of the pair. Other Behaviors: Mate. Habitat: Forest, Evergreen Forest, River.
