Observation details
Continuing. I’d searched all of the known locations including this spot for the previous four hours. A large squall line came through. After the lightning was over I put my rain gear on to check this area out. Lo and behold the bird was present and I watched it and photographed it from 30-150 feet away for nearly an hour. I heard it vocalize a few times. It fed very similarly to Ibises sweeping its bill back and forth in the water. It flew north around 1115AM.
