Observation details
Surprised to see this bird land in the middle of the road and then watched as it hopped about in a front yard. A chunky parulid with brown upperparts and quite yellow below. Supercillium pale yellowish. Bill relatively long. Lacked the salmon tones in the flanks that I would expect for a Louisiana Waterthrush (not to mention range is much more suggestive of Northern). Seen outside house 73337. Pretty wacky bird for Barrow, though at least one other Northern Waterthush has been reported in northern North Slope this spring already.
