Observation details

Found by John Parmeter and relocated shortly after I arrived. John heard it call and sing several times. I heard it call once and sing once. The call was a simple two-note call resembling that of Ruby-crowned Kinglet. The entire time I observed it, it stayed on the sunlit east side of the trap, often going deep into brush for long periods of time. The color in the photo shot in shade is much more accurate than that shot in early morning sun.
