Media notes
I had about five sightings of this bird today; I'm pretty confident there are at least two birds. The bird was less than half the size of the Salmon-crested Cockatoos that also frequent this site. Features are consistent with that of a Tanimbar Corella: Underside of its wings and tail exhibits a yellowish tinge, beak is pale gray, eye color is black (or it could be brown), and at 31 cm and 350 g. it is much smaller than a Salmon-crested Cockatoo. RFP Monograph indicates that a few are present at the Lyon Arboretum.
