Media notes
The bird’s features are consistent with that of a White Cockatoo. A medium-sized, white cockatoo: all white with underside of wings and tail washed yellow (I also viewed it flying), grey-black bill, white, bare eye-ring, dark brown iris (males) and grey legs. This bird's raised crest feathers are not lined up in an unbroken row perhaps because it was windy but the crest continues beyond the gaps to complete a long, backward-curving pattern.
Observation details
This cockatoo appears to have partnered with a Salmon-crested Cockatoo; I have observed them together at a nearby tree cavity nest.
