NOTES: Bamboo forest, ranging between 1200- 1350m, Upper Tropical forest and bamboo forest, neither one very distinct, areas with bamboo, but never isolated, forest without close canpoy, bamboo 5-10 m high, mixted with early succesional plants, very hill, always climbng up or down, but not cliffs area with no human impact, 2 day hike in, cutting trails. A typical Euphonia, natural, response to playback and then response to rebound playback and an excited response. A response to rebound playback. Response to playback: Approach. Response to playback: Different song. Habitat: Forest, Montane Grassland, Scrub.
