Observation details
I had hoped to call this one a Bicknell's at first, but further examination revealed a grayish cheek contrasting with the rest of the face. Extensive yellow on the mandible and slightly rufous color on the back gave rise to the hope of a Bicknell's. Bicknell's might actually be more common at this time of year given the wintering range of Bicknell's is in the Caribbean and most migrants at this time are coming from that region. Some Gray-cheeked do winter in the Caribbean as well.
