The Lab of Ornithology’s Bioacoustics Research Program is considering offering an Introduction to Sound Analysis Workshop at the Cornell Lab of Ornithology, immediately following the Macaulay Library’s 2017 Sound Recording Workshop, depending on interest. The workshop would focus on analysis of animal sounds using Raven Pro sound analysis software and last three days.

Participation and Cost

Participation in the analysis workshop is open to those taking the Sound Recording Workshop who wish to stay on for the additional days, and also to anyone who may wish to attend the analysis workshop only.

The standard workshop fee includes tuition, a 1-year student license for Raven Pro (renewable as long as you are a student), class materials, ground transportation, food, and lodging. The cost is still to be deterimined. For information call (607) 254-6323 or email macaulaylibrary@cornell.edu.
