NOTES: Background: ANOUS MINUTUS (IN TREE BRANCHES); GROWLS AND RASPING IN BURROW. THESE PETRELS WERE FLYING AROUND THE EDGES OF THE BASEBALL FIELD AND UNDER SOME IRONWOOD TREES AND CRAWLING ON THE GROUND. WITH FLASHLIGHTS WE TRIED TO APPROACH AND RECORD THE INFREQUENT CALLS. WE DID NOT SUCCEED Age: 2 UNKNOWN AGE; Sex: UNKNOWND. ONE WENT DOWN A BURROW. THERE WAS ANOTHER PETREL IN THE BURROW. WITH MICROPHONE IN THE BURROW WE RECORDED THIS RASPING GROWL. THEN THE SAME PETREL CAME BACK OUT.
