NOTES: 'FIELD GUIDE TO BIRD SONGS'. DISC 2. SIDE 1. BAND 7. [There appear to be 37 songs of Dendroica castanea here, all of roughly the same song type. These songs are similar to those pictured in Figure 30B of Borror and Gunn (1985. Songs of the warblers of North America. Cornell Laboratory of Ornithology and Federation of Ontario Naturalists), but not identical. Sweet, chip calls at 4:07, 4:22, 4:26, 5:125, 5:45, and 6:01 may have been given by this same bird, as may have the buzzy, "zeep" calls at 4:095, 4:11, 4:27-4:285 (three), 4:33, 4:45, 4:475, 4:49, 4:56, 5:02 (good), 5:10, 5:28, and 5:305. There are "cryptic" stop-starts at 2:14, 4:04, 5:40, and possibly at 1:36. Quality changed from 1-2 to 2 (most songs, and especially the calls, have a weak signal and most songs with a stronger signal are overloaded) - CAM - 25 May 2005]
