NOTES: Dawn songs of bird #3 recorded from cacao plantation near house and across swamp and fields. First part of recording began at 6:13, after bird's first long call, so first song on tape was its first for the day. Just getting light at this time. Bird began 30 m away in canopy of large tree. Brief break when bird moved, with recorder back on again at 6:19, after missing about four songs when bird moved a short distance, now about 25 m up overhead; bird moved again briefly soon thereafter with recorder back on again at 6:21, with bird now about 30 m away (later 25 m up overhead after I moved up on it). Bird sang from three different trees during this recording, all in a relatively small area with bird never moving more than about 20 m. Bird moved yet again just before end of this cut, with continuation as cut #98RDAT01-08. Full overcast, calm, low 70s; it began drizzling near end of this cut. Copied with HPF@200 Hz.

ML: Subject changed from recordist's original identification of Xiphorhynchus guttatus eytoni to Xiphorhynchus guttatus [eytoni Group] to conform to eBird Taxonomy (v. 1.55). -Jay McGowan/Matt Medler, July 2015.
