    Equipment Note

NOTES: Bird #6 recorded along Avenida Perimetral Oeste across from its intersection with the road to workers' housing (same bird previously recorded in cut #97RDAT24-36 and 97RDAT25-07). For most of this cut, unseen bird was probably 75 m away and high up in same very large tree that was used the previous day,but it was apparently farther back at first. This is an unbroken continuation of cut #97RDAT25-08 after I switched to the Xiphorhynchus, and it included bird's entire chorus because it began while I was recording a Xiphocolaptes in the sdame tree. Although it rained for a few minutes at 5:15, it was mostly clear by this time with a few clouds back toward airport; calm; low 70s. Copied with HPF@200 Hz.

ML: Background subject changed from recordist's original identification of Xiphorhynchus guttatus eytoni to Xiphorhynchus guttatus [eytoni Group] to conform to eBird Taxonomy (v. 1.55). -Jay McGowan/Matt Medler, July 2015.
