NOTES: Same bird recorded on afternoon of 7 December (cut #97RDAT22-18) near intersection of Avenida Perimetral Oeste and road off towards workers housing. Bird was 35 m away and high up in strip of trees along road. Bird had been singing when I arrived at 17:45, but it took a short while to get onto it. Second part began after missing two songs when bird began singing again from same spot just before 17:58. Mostly clear but with clouds on horizon, 1/2+ moon overhead, generally calm but with intermittent breeze, low 80s. Only one channel was filtered using built in HHb filters for first part - the one that was copied - but both filtered for second part. Bird seemed to fly off just prior to end of this cut.
ML: Subject changed from recordist's original identification of Xiphorhynchus guttatus eytoni to Xiphorhynchus guttatus [eytoni Group] to conform to eBird Taxonomy (v. 1.55). -Jay McGowan/Matt Medler, July 2015.
