    Equipment Note

NOTES: Low and unseen in same spot as previous cuts (#97RDAT01-01 & 02). Unseen bird was low in dense undergrowth with many vine tangles at edge of clearing. Bird was apparently 6 m from me and within a meter of the ground. Initially natural, after break is a response after playback by Andrew Whittaker, nearly identical to LNS #35635 from Par¿, Brazil. Copied using HPF@180 Hz. Contains an internal announcement. Weather conditions generally same, but now 75¡ F.

ML: Background subject changed from recordist's original identification of Psarocolius bifasciatus yuracares to Psarocolius bifasciatus to conform to eBird Taxonomy (v. 1.55). -Jay McGowan/Matt Medler, July 2015.
