NOTES: Background: POMATOSTOMUS TEMPORALIS (FLOCK OF 7); Weather: WIND; A PECULIAR, BUT QUITE PLEASING, SHORT SERIES OF RATHER MUFFLED NOTES FROM A PRESUMED MALE. BIRD PERCHED QUIETLY IN FULL VIEW ON A DEAD BRANCH NEAR THE TOP OF A SMALL TREE. WHEN NOT VOCALIZINGTHE BIRD FLEW FROMTREE TO TREE. EACH TIME IT ALIGHTED IT WOULD SHUFFLE ITS WINGS IN A VERY CHARACTERISTIC MANNER. BRUSHY FIELD WITH SCATTERED PATCHES OF SECOND GROWTH WOODS ABOUT 8KM INLAND FROM YEPPOON. RECORDED IN LATE MORNING. 1 ADULT(S); MALE?
