NOTES: This is split and is Turdus pelios. At hotel grounds in town. Note by Linda Macaulay: This was recorded in 1995 in Gabon, West Africa. It was identified by us and confirmed by Ian Sinclair by sight and sound. I think there was confusion about the LNS name. It appears it should have been put under T. libonyanus not T. litsipsirupa. In any case T. pelios at the time was listed in Distribution & Taxonomy (Sibley & Monroe) as a separate species - see page 515. It was also listed as a separate species in Birds of the World 2000 (James Clements).

ML: Subject changed from Psophocichla litsitsirupa to Turdus pelios based on recordist's identification. -Jay McGowan 21Jul2015.
